Starter Service Kit
The Starter Service Kit is the first step for anyone planning to refresh a room with handwoven textiles but unsure where to begin. Instead of guessing at yardage or hoping a color works in person, this kit gathers the essentials into one practical bundle: a curated set of fabric swatches, a short guide to the weaving cooperatives we work with, and a simple checklist for measuring windows, cushions, and bedspreads before ordering.
Each swatch comes from the actual batch available in the current autumn and winter collection. You feel the wool weight of the Rajasthan blankets, the cotton density of the Gujarat floor rugs, and the drape of the lightweight curtains side by side. That matters because a terracotta tone photographed in morning light can look completely different under your own ceiling lights. The kit is meant to settle that question before you commit to a larger piece.
The guide inside lists the typical dimensions for each product family, the fiber composition, and the washing instructions we recommend for handwoven material. It also notes which cooperatives produced each sample, so you can follow a particular workshop's work if you like the hand feel of their weaving. This is the same information we use when preparing orders, written for a non-specialist.
Once you have the kit, the next step is straightforward. You compare the swatches against your wall paint, sofa fabric, and floor finish, then send us your measurements through the contact page. We confirm availability for the specific color and size you need, and the order proceeds only after you approve the details. No pressure, no minimum quantity, and no charge for the consultation itself.
